Orbit: Sphere in the Community
Orbit events nurture a sense of community and belonging, and create a safe space for reflection, expression, and shared humanity through music.
Sphere Ensemble partners with local nonprofits that support some of the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our community. Through our Orbit program, we bring free live performances directly into these organizations' spaces, sharing the same repertoire featured in our concert series and inviting open dialogue on themes related to the music and participants' lived experiences.

Our goal is to offer moments of joy, peace, inspiration, and catharsis, knowing that even a brief musical connection can make a meaningful difference. We aim to return to each partner site multiple times throughout the season—building trust, deepening relationships, and expanding mutual understanding.
