ABOUT SPHERE ENSEMBLE - PRESS BOILERPLATE
Sphere Ensemble is a Denver-based, musician-led professional string ensemble that reimagines what a string ensemble can be. Founded in 2011, Sphere presents music ranging from classical and contemporary works to pop, rock, R&B, and other genre-crossing repertoire through performances, original arrangements, and new commissions. Through its Orbit community engagement program, Sphere also brings live music into schools, healthcare settings, supportive housing communities, youth organizations, and other spaces throughout Colorado. Now entering its 15th anniversary season, Sphere is committed to expanding the possibilities of string ensemble music and creating meaningful connections through live performance.

ORBIT: SPHERE IN THE COMMUNITY
Through Orbit, Sphere brings live music directly to diverse communities and organizations, including:

This October, Sphere will bring Orbit to Sage Ridge Supportive Residential Community, part of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, for a special outreach performance. Each program is developed with community partners to create accessible, relevant, and meaningful musical experiences.​
