Women's Work Vol. 2 at The Broomfield Auditorium

Sphere’s signature blend of string ensemble music, all written by women. Works by Caroline Shaw, Marion Eugenie Bauer, Caroline Charrière, Colorado composer Dianna Link, and more!

We are very excited to be joined for the second year running by the wonderful young string musicians of the Spectrum Ensemble! Spectrum will provide pre-concert music and join us on stage to play side-by-side with Sphere for one piece. Founded in 2016, the Spectrum Ensemble features accomplished student string musicians under the umbrella of the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestras. The group performs a vast array of chamber orchestra repertoire from many genres without a conductor. Our mission is to be exposed to copious amounts of music, to perform frequently, to collaborate with other arts organizations, and to become patrons of arts. Spectrum Ensemble is thrilled to join Sphere Ensemble for the second time for this concert featuring female composers!
